That’s 37,500 posts per hour, and 900,000 posts created per day in July, according to statistics reported Tuesday by the blog trackers at San Francisco-based Technorati.
The all-time posting record to-date was just over 1.1 million per day in early July after the Live 8 fundraising concerts and the announcement of Justice Sandra Day O’Connor’s retirement from the U.S. Supreme Court.
Technorati also noted that an entire new blog is created every second, and that the blogosphere is doubling every 5.5 months, for a July total of 14.2 million blogs and 1.3 billion links.
