I&#8217;d learned the alphabet in kindergarten, and one day the teacher was teaching us a song that she&#8217;d written on the blackboard, something about &#8221;K-k-katy, beautiful Katy,&#8221; and the concept of each letter representing a sound abruptly dawned on me.<\/p>\n<p>I suddenly realized that maybe I could read, since I knew all the letters. (\u2026)<br \/>\nThat comic book, by the way, stuck in my memory, and twenty years later I tracked it down and bought a copy. It&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.watt-evans.com\/mymisspentyouth.html\"target=\"_blank\"><b>Adventures into the Unknown<\/b> #105<\/a>, published by the American Comics Group in 1956.<\/i><\/ol>\n<p>&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;..<br \/>\n(*)<br \/>\ni jeszcze:<\/p>\n<ol><i>To paraphrase Mark Twain, a classic is a book everyone&#8217;s heard about but no one has read.<\/p>\n<p>At long last, I was able to finally come across a copy of Dr. <b>Frederick Wertham&#8217;s<\/b> \u201eSeduction of the Innocent&#8221;.<br \/>\nI&#8217;d heard about the book for years, as have most comic-book collectors.
